Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing to work with Randell Hoffman for your consultation needs in Utah’s LGBTQIA+ history, culture, and humanities. To ensure a productive and efficient experience, please review the following policy for consultation meetings. 1. Appointment Scheduling - Initial Consultation: Before booking a full consultation, new clients are encouraged to schedule a 15-minute introductory call, free of charge, to discuss objectives and determine the scope of work. Simply email me and I will respond so we can get something scheduled. - Meeting Format: Consultations are available video conferencing or in person as discussed at the time of booking. 2. Preparing for the Consultation - Agenda and Goals: Clients are encouraged to send a list of discussion topics, goals, or specific questions at least 48 hours before the consultation. This preparation helps ensure we can make the most of our time together. This is to be sent over within 48 hours before the meeting (after the free consultation though). - Materials and Resources: If relevant, please send any background materials, documents, or research questions prior to the meeting (48 hours prior) 3. Cancellations and Rescheduling - Notification: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Changes or cancellations can be made via email or phone. - Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be billed the full consultation rate. - No-Show Policy: If a client does not attend a scheduled consultation without notice, they will be billed for the full consultation rate. 4. Rescheduling Policy - Flexible Rescheduling: Rescheduling is permitted without any fee if the request is made at least 24 hours before the appointment. - Frequent Rescheduling: Clients who reschedule more than twice in a row may be asked to confirm future appointments with a non-refundable $25 deposit. 5. Confidentiality - Privacy and Discretion* All consultation discussions and materials shared will remain confidential, respecting the client’s privacy and intellectual property. -- I appreciate your adherence to these policies, as they help me provide the highest quality service for all clients.
